Bestiario Veneziano is part of the Venice Mapping Time project and will be displayed in the Sala di Psiche on the first floor of the Museum. Completing the installation at the end of November will be a new diptych inspired by the Salamandra tra le fiamme (bas-relief recently uncovered), a work created specifically for the Museum.

During the exhibition period over the past few months, I have had the opportunity to explore the building's spaces with greater awareness. Marbles, ancient stones, reflective surfaces, color contrasts, and symbolic figures accompany you at every turn. In this context, the bas-relief of the Salamander attracted my attention and fueled my imagination more than any other element. Its contrasts, formalities, and allegorical antitheses inspired the photographic work I wanted to dedicate to it.
